Million Blog List.

Millionbloglist

This is a wiki project conducted to see how long it will take to reach 1'000'000 blogs to be listed on the site, it's said that there are around 70'000'000 blogs in the world.

Kindly list your blog and take the poll on how long you think will be needed for 1 million blogs to be listed.

This blog is listed at #1401.

Whopper, a few things into one.

Of my whole flash card full of Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Velvet Revolver and Buckethead.
Okay this is up just in hope of stopping Mary from merajuk *giggles* "Remember to put up my name when you mention about the songs you downloaded recently!" "I check your blog everyday one lor, no updates about me one =( " okay here it is, thanks for all you peoples who have helped me in my downloadings recently, Mary and Jwen *grins*, you both are great!

Of my enthusiasm towards Rock & Roll.
Many have asked about my passion towards the Californian 80's. How does it feel? Well each time the riff started playing on the player you feel out of context, divorced from your usual point of view, perspective skewed, it's like hearing yourself on an answering machine that speaks well on behalf of your playful character, and when the guitar solo sets in, orgasm.

Of A guy I met recently.
I'm always grateful that my work enables me to meet with all kinds of people, from all walks of life. This is a guy I met on the street, he's a migrate from Indonesia, together with his wife he came to Malaysia in search of better opportunities. They're not high grads, they don't have a cert, they will have nothing to polish a shine on the resume if they ever gonna write one, the guy works in a lamp shop and the wifey at a restaurant. He told me he's working very hard over here to save up money so he could start his own business when he goes back to Surabaya. He wants an extraordinary life.
Why people whose situation seems to be much worse strive for excellence and while we, living a better life, thinks mediocrity?

Comedies fail to deliver? A new drama for you: Malaysia Politics.
Lim Kit Siang: Let's send the Altantuya murderers to HELL!
Mahu menjadi satu religious fundamentalist?!

Khairy: Project Khinzir Raksaksa, atau singkatannya, PKR..
PKR-Kulim Bndr Bharu: I minta yang berhormat supaya perkataan itu ditarik balik!
Khairy: PKR?
PAS-Pokok Sena: PBN project Babi Negara!
Khairy: Siapa babi negara?! Siapa Babi Negara?!

Speaker Of Parliament: Satu setengah jam sudah, sila sambung hari lain..
Lim Kit Siang: Satu setengah jam, 80 percent sudah dikacau orang! (continues his speech)

So the interesting drama series has no particular broadcasting channel, just type in "Malaysia Parliament" and there goes You Tube.

Recent book journey.

Currently listening to: 万芳 - 新不了情,Justin - 男人KTV.

It's just half an hour more to six o'clock morning, when everybody else usually wakes up for their daily pursues, or maybe a start of another boring routine for most peoples, I'm typing in a cafe near my condo, where I usually spend my night gaming, and i don't really need to look at the clock to tell about what time it is, where the cc would usually be crowded with peoples during midnight, and slowly they start leaving when it gets "earlier & earlier", and there are not more than five left now. I wish i can sleep peacefully but sometimes there are things that just tend to bug too much and keeps the mind operating, yea, adversities, we all face it as a part of life.

About the display picture, that happened when I was organizing my junks(before that they really made the house feel really messy) I was stacking up my books which were scattered throughout the whole living room, and this pile of thing were actually what I read in the past few weeks, some are considered boring stuffs for most peoples(of cause I like them if not I wouldn't have bought them at the first place), some are on the fiction's best-seller list.

The Logic Of Life - I was looking for another book which falls into the category of so called "evolutionary economics", and Chewxy recommended this 200+ pages Tim Harford's new work, based on what called the rationality theory, it explains about whatever you think to be irrational acts could be rational at some point, because human beings simply respond to incentives. Overall the book is quite a good one but I would have to agree with Chewxy on the point that the cover illustrator for the book should be laid off immediately.

Asian Godfathers - Basically a detailed account of what shaped the South East Asia economy starting from mid nineteenth century, also recorded clearly how tycoons of the region came into power, and Joe Studwell certainly did tell a story about these peoples which you couldn't have heard elsewhere.

Globalization And Its Discontents: Written by our former SVP and Chief Economist at the World Bank, there he presented a detailed account of how the Iternational Monetary Fund came into work and developed what so called a new type of colonialism and the unfair trade conditions which has been imposed onto the developing countries.

The Kite Runner - I've never found and read such emotional stories since a long time ago, love, honour, guilt, it speaks of redemption, and the world is not just monochromatically black and white, at least there's a grey in between. Conclusion about the book, I picked it up in a want to know more about the Middle East, but what has kept me reading the book is the appealing story in it.

The Curious Incident About The Dog In The Night Time - Funny and remarkably it says of a young fifteen year old boy(the narrator) which he struggles from a form of autism. A four-over-five for me, thumb's up for the story which makes one feel whimsy after reading it, and it can even serve a great purpose as one helluva laughing stock, thumb's down, for the shallow plot and superficious background being described in the book.

Of beer, cards and the cue.

Together there were 5 souls of us, boys grown up from Ipoh are we we call ourselves, though still keep contact after graduating from the same high school, seldom a time like this did time spent for a return to moments of the good old days, it certainly did, but the boys are more likely to have beers now, rather than ice milo, snooker rather than soccer, card games rather than those of the computers. Tigers were the spirit of the night, the stone age environment made up the atmosphere, were no many peoples in the bar, huge space for us yet no quiet.

First there were Santana, then it turned some funk rock at the middle, some trancey music then after, and bluesy ones before end. We played some chinese poker, I'm not pro of this, but turned out the pros didn't always win, in fact it actually happened the other way round, was lucky enough to always have loads of di, at least 2 for most of the time. First went spade 2 which is the dai di, followed by a full house, second went a heart 2, and flush to win, something like that. They had pools, I just never know how to, hard even to learn adjusting the cue to a proper position *grins*. Of the DJ, I requested some RHCPs and he gave me this one called "Can't Stop", a hit to suit my mood best to the atmosphere. It's no clubbing, it's just place for a relieve over hectic lifestyle we're tired of, and Ipoh still serves best for that.

Had supper right after, realized I left my cam in the bar, just when I wanted to take a shoot. So Alvin drove back to the bar, got it back. Place for supper was ABC restaurant, our all time favourite place to be. Stewed rice, I asked the hawker to separate the rice and stew, rice in plates, and stew a big bowl, and shared, insisted to serve it this way even if some days later we're millionaires.

Story of a girl.

"Hi, asl?"
Was private message in friendster, was how we came knowing each other. today of years after, I'm still failing to figure out how two persons of different backgrounds came together, it feels of fate, and I appreciate, very much.

I'm a guy of no romance, not with deep pockets, either. I'm just an average joe, an ordinary guy next door who works for a living, but I came to know I worth more than precious to you and I'm not no one, and I'm not having no one either. I remember there were times I came looking for u at your college and waited for you to finish class, there were also times when we went out and I kid to dump you at corner of one street, sometimes ended up too late to catch on the last train and we spent a cold night on the street. And there were times at Genting, in the cable car were only two of us.

And there were times when you cooked, plain good taste of homemade meals, spoke of the heart, but somehow liked teasing you just to see your face turn sour, okay good food and the face smiled once again.

@#$%^%$#@#$%^%@!!!

I found that it's even hard to get my seat, why do college students like coming to McD to do revision?

Imagine a situation when you questioned one of them "Why do you like to come to a fast food restoran to do revision?" And he/she answered "Because I just couldn't concentrate at home." Or because "I need food when I study." So I figured out there's alot alot alot and alot of college students just couldn't concentrate doing revision at home.

And again imagine questioning another college students who does his/her revision at home. "Why'd you......at home?" "Because there's too much temptation when I step out of this door, and I need a quiet environment." It's a total contradiction, mind If you say these are all matter of individual preferences.

Imagine again a situation, a house staying 5 college students, one of them suggested "let's all go out to McD to do revision, all agrees. Personally I would never think going to a fast food restoran to do revision would be the individual preference for each and everyone of them. And one of the 5s again suggested "let's ask also the girls to go along." Which is why I saw most of them came in a large group mixing of girls and boys. =)

SO......

Random Update.

The recent picture, retarded? No, smart looking? YES.

I never have a computer in the place I'm staying currently, so failing of this self proclaimed free press reporter.

Of all the topics I've written, I can merely come to say that a simple update entry of me currently would be the hardest of all. I just dont used to tell about my everyday life, maybe it happens I just going through some pure boring daily routines. Or maybe I'm not good at presenting my chronicles, I guess I'd best stick with timeless contents, events and photographs, hah! And I just browsed through the pictures in my camera today, knowing I've not taken pictures with Bee since long..

Btw it's a good lunch out with fellows Cliff, Ai Li and Julian Chan!

Brief Update.

There had been alot that happened, I don't know how to tell, I did some random flashbacks, hmm, nothing much happened also, it's still merely normal life routines in repeatance..

Recently I've read a book from a renowned writer, titled "Rich Dad Poor Dad", merely talked about generally the difference between the rich and middle class, which the Rich earns most of the money and the middle class spend their entire life working for their employer, thus trapped in the so called "Rat Race". The book talked about the most peoples are lack of financial education, the writer says, "they learnt nothing about money". My friends circle majority of them come from the art stream, (for some kind of reason I mostly cannot click with scientists, their white lab coat still freaks me out at night and what they do is pretty much disgusting =P.) they study the subjects of economics, business, finance, accounting, the author speaks of those only as scholastic skills and nothing else, and challenged the conservative thinking of studying hard to get a good grade thus getting a good job and get employed into a big company, that's it then you're forever trapped in the "Rat Race" where you work hard, and you rely solely on the monthly pay check to cover expenses, work harder, hoping for a promotion, got it finally and realized again the expenses have again gone up.. So yea, that's it briefly about the book.

V For Vendetta. I've watched twice. Somehow I just like the Guy Fawkes mask and the poetic dialogues of the film, here's part of it. :

"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

I'm too lazy to tell about the film, it's something about the future Britain being ruled by a totalitarian regime and there's this guy who named V seeking vengeance plotting a vendetta against the government. The nicest thing of all about the movie, the Guy Fawkes Mask!

Random day.

I picked up one cent from the floor, at the crowded KLCC LRT station, which everyone has stepped on it, abandoned it, I know one day it'll turn into something else, it's a promising one cent coin.

On the way back home in the train, I saw this young boy who looked very much alike with me, he looked just as when I was 8 or 9 years of age, short hair, thick eye brow, shiny eyes, small lips, round face.

Last night the girl was having her graduation night, while she do she took some picture of herself and sent me through MMS, this is the one I like very much. =)
I'm so hyper and alive dancing to the song(Inner Circle - Sweat) in my room! you might not know this song, but I guess you remember the rhythmic " A La La La La Long~~" yeah it's that song. =) sometimes I'm just so randomly delighted over this kind of music, sadly everytime when the song finishes playing, some metal pieces came up next and it suddenly annoys me, and I have to open the playlist and, here goes a la la la la long~ again!
Woke up early to rush back KL for 1pm shift. Currently into Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing. Thank you Cwsam for introducing nice musics to me, I'll be waiting to get the photocopy of the lesson book from you during my next come back next come back, prolly a week or so later. =)

A brief update.

Life has been out of the internet lately, partly because of the roommate's withdrawal from his course, and moved back to his hometown. Will come online once in every two or three days to check on friendster, or my Neopets, started off another account since the last one was frozen after I got hacked.
College life is fine, met great peoples, great lecturers, and I'm working as a sales agent during weekends, gonna come back Ipoh once in every two or three weeks time.

And my baby has her own blog now =) address is http://enchantingvenus.blogspot.com/

Saint Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day is on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards or candy. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine's Day. The holiday is named after two men, both Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines." Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline and the figure of the winged
Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards. The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year behind Christmas. The association estimates that women purchase approximately 85 percent of all valentines.
In the United States, the marketing of Valentine's Day has tagged it as a "Hallmark holiday." A recent trend has been to refer to February 14 as Singles Awareness Day.

Day trip to Genting.

So the trip was a blast, with Black Chicken and Noobie Sam. It was so nice and I almost forgot my purpose of going up Genting was for interview. It's more about foods and games, and the interview has become only a small part of the trip.
We arrived at around 12 noon, headed straight to human resources dept to get my application form, and inside the office was so freaking crowded, with around 100+ peoples queing waiting for the interview. And we waited there for my turn to interview. Thought Id fail, cause that time in Syuen hotel Ive failed once before cause of telling them my intention of further studying later, and this time, I was so f**king unlucky to get the SAME PERSON to interview me, again. And still the lucky part was, the lady didn't recognize me, at all. And I passed, going up on 16th.

This is we where had our lunch, thanks to Black Chicken's mama, who has been working for Genting for over 20 years.

The Safari pub, and who's that fella doing strip dance?

We met this funny clown, decided to take a shoot with him.
Sam : "Hey mr, can i take picture with you?"
Clown: "Aiyoh, I ng leng chai lah, but you want then come la"
(He took out a huge, long and colourful comb from his bag, and brushed my hair, WTF, everyone was staring at us =/)
Clown: "Comb your hair first, this magic comb let you grow become more leng chai"(WTF, I where got hair?)
And 3,2,1 snapped.
